FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Are you Amish? Mennonite?
No, we are not Amish or any other kind of Mennonite, although we would have some things in common with them.
2. Do visitors have to wear veils and dresses?
No. We do not expect visitors to share our convictions on all points, nor do we judge them based on appearance. We do believe and teach that modest apparel is commanded in the Scriptures (1 Tim. 2:9-10, 1 Pet. 3:3, et al).
3. What is a regular Sunday service like?
If you are looking for hip Sunday morning entertainment, you have come to the wrong place. We meet at 10AM for praise and worship in the form of acapella singing from a hymnbook followed by two or three messages from God's Word. Services are followed by a fellowship meal (every Sunday except the 1st) to which all are welcome.
4. What ministries do you have at your church that I could be involved in?
Corporately, we go door-to-door in the local neighborhood as time permits, sharing the gospel and teaching the Word to all who will listen.
5. Is there ordained leadership?
Yes. Pilgrims For Christ has an Elder and a Deacon ordained.
